Ovoid jar with articulated neck, narrow shoulders, sides widening toward a flat base, and two lug handles ornamented with stylized zoomorphic heads; light gray stoneware with transparent olive-green glaze over applique handles and abstract designs impressed repeatedly over the entirety of the body, the glaze on the interior and exterior; base unglazed. From Jiangsu or Zhejiang province.
