Coin of Nikephoros II

Obv.: Inscription. Above and below -- cross -- (cross formed by 5 dots in + pattern). Rev.: Cross crosslet on base and globe over two steps. In its center four-lobed medallion with bust of Nicephorus wearing modified loros and crown with cross and pendilia. Triple border of dots, the middle one ornamented with eight globules.
