Three Sections of an Architectural Frieze

Coptic

Long, narrow frieze, decorated in relief, projects from surface in the manner of a torus. At center of torus, a vine is interwoven to form a figure-eight pattern. Stemming up and down from this central vine, single, deeply-drilled leaves and clusters of fruit alternate. Undecorated extension, approximately 10cm long, projects below frieze.
