A hanging scroll featuring a painting depicting a female figure dressed as a bride. The figure is shown in profile from the waist up. She wears a pink kimono with a white fan design, over red and white under kimonos. The figure’s face is painted white and her gaze is downward. Over her black hair she wears a wide, white headdress known as a tsunokakushi. Gold pins in the shape of cranes and flowers are placed in her hair. The background is blank.
