Anthropomorphic female figurine fragment: legs
Syrian
These legs are a fragment of an anthropomorphic terracotta figurine. A vertical groove present on both front and back delineates the legs. The legs widen into a schematic suggestion of feet. The “toes” point downward very slightly; there is no flat resting surface.
Clay fabric: Munsell 7.5 YR 8/3 pink. Fine matrix with fine to frequent voids and fine white speckled inclusions. This figurine fragment lacks the fine black speckles present on the surface of the head (2022.242.1).
