Anthropomorphic female figurine fragment: legs

Anthropomorphic female figurine fragment: legs

Syrian

These legs are a fragment of an anthropomorphic, handmade terracotta figurine. A vertical groove present on both front and back delineates the legs. The legs terminate in feet, suggested by widening to indicate (schematically) the balls of feet; the feet point down and forward. Clay fabric: Munsell 10YR 8/3 very pale brown. Uncommon small black specks; rare larger white grits. Common fine to small voids.
