Painted canvas fragment

Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges. The fragment has a white priming layer covered by a layer of dark red paint and two smaller strokes of lighter red or orange and a matte medium, applied diagonally with respect to the canvas weave.
