Painted canvas fragment

Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with irregular knife cuts edges. The fragment has a partial turn edge and a partial tacking margin with staple holes. The canvas is white primed with strokes of orange and dark red paint. Each paint stroke is applied diagonally with respect to the canvas weave, with a brush, without taped edges.
