Painted canvas fragment

Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with irregular knife cuts edges. The fragment has a partial turn edge with thick paint buildup and a partial tacking margin with staple holes. The painted area is layered with orange under transparent dark red. The turn edge is oriented diagonally with respect to the canvas weave.
