Painted canvas fragment

Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges and a white ground layer. The fragment has a partial turn edge and tacking margin with staple holes. The fragment is painted is painted reddish orange, extending over the turn edge and partially covering the margin.
