Body Sherd Of Rhyton With Painted Decoration.

Body sherd of wide-mouth rhyton, near base. Exterior has brown-black paint on buff. Areas of dense stippling between vertical foliate bands and vertical bands of paint. The band of thick paint has 2 thin ones on either side, and is fluidly painted, suggesting a stem. Interior monochrome brown-black paint. Buff clay. Large chip on exterior, interior paint cracking and encrusted.
