Mycenaean

Body sherd from large, closed vessel, probably a piriform jar. Streaky orange-red to brown paint cream slip. 3 stems of thinly-painted linked spirals, with a band below. Lustrous, though some chips and scratches. Fine, red-orange fabric with some inclusions, wheel-made. Imported Mycenaean. LHIIIA1 (c. 1400-1375 BCE).
