Sketchbook with green-marbled-paper-covered cardboard covers, brown cloth spine and corners. Pages of off-white wove paper. Sewn page block. Sketchbook is incomplete, with forty pages remaining. Forty-four drawings. The pages are numbered in red-brown ink in the upper right corner. Twelve pages have been removed between page 41 and the back pastedown. Contents: Views of the Tyrol from Bolzano to Innsbruck, with watercolors of Längenfeld, Zell im Zimmerthal, and a mountain landscape; Tyrolean village scenes, cattle, heads. Sketches after the figures in Maximillian's tomb in the Hofkirche at Innsbruck, and a drawing after Donatello's pulpit on the exterior of the Cathedral of Prato.
