Animal Pendant

Animal Pendant

Iranian

This pendant is in the shape of a stylized animal standing frontally. The animal has very high, straight ears or horns. The head is small and short with no detail, except perhaps a small, incised line indicating the mouth. The suspension loop rises out of the back of the animal. The body has a scooped shape, a rounded rump, and a small, nub-like tail. The legs are thin and spindly. No other details are present.
