Mycenaean

Reproduction of original with bronze blade with gold and silver inlay showing hunting cats attacking ducks or other birds along the banks of a river which is lined with papyrus-lotus plants and filled with fish shown in silver. Often referred to as the "Nilotic" dagger because of the Egyptian imagery and style. The reproduction includes an imitation gold handle and pommel not preserved on the original. The original was found in Grave Circle A at Mycenae.
