Scarab with animal (dog?) running right and palm branch

Dark red carnelian scaraboid (intaglio gem in the shape of a beetle). Four-legged animal with two pointed ears, and lond tail (possibly a dog), runs right. Two palm frond: one underneath the dog and a second in front. Back carved as beetle with hatched border around the thorax; two lines dividing the elytra; incised legs, and plain plinth.
