Roman

Mold made lamp. Flat, thick, minimally raised ring base with flat central area. Rounded flaring walls. Obvious join at rim. Deep reservoir. Impressed ovules around rim. Concave discus with ring of rays, ring of herringbone pattern, and several raised ridges. Central filling hole. Snub, round nozzle with lines linking it to edge of discus. Vertical, pierced handle. Buff-orange micaceous fabric. No slip, but some brown and white accretion. Faint charring at tip of nozzle. Significant flaking/chipping around nozzle.
