Seated Girl

Greek

Smiling girl seated on a rock, legs spread and planted firmly on the ground. She is wearing a high belted chiton and himation. Melon type coiffure, flat, square plinth, with an irregular square vent hole on the sparsely modeled back. (Left-hand figure in photograph). Hard, pale brown clay; traces of white slip and blue pigment.
