"Multiple Bead" with ornamental decoration from Nuzi Temple Courtyard Room G 50, Stratum II
Hurrian
A rectangular bead designed to simulate multiple strands of beads. Doubly pierced. The middle "strands" represent two strings of three fluted beads each. The modern mount obscures the back of the bead, although it appears to be flat. The greenish blue glass has weathered and decayed significantly, making it difficult to determine the original color.
