Shouldered Beaker from Private Dwelling Room G17 at Nuzi, Stratum II
Hurrian
Shouldered, light green-gray terracotta beaker with narrow foot. The length of the vessel's neck is almost equal to that of the tapered body, which bears four dimples, or slight depressions, set apart from one another at fairly regular intervals. The underside of the base is generally flat, although a very slight depression is noticeable. The rim is slightly irregular, oval, and broken, and the foot is chipped. Some charring appears outside and inside the vessel.
