Cinerarium with Human Remains

Roman

Cinerarium; broad, cylindrical body, sides sloping outwards to straight shoulder (circum. 68.5 cm), short neck, rolled lip. Wide ribbon handle; lower part of handle is ribbed. Intact; flaking pale blue iridescence and patches of dirt accretion on the interior. Cremated human remains and debris fill the vessel.
