Oinochoe (wine pitcher)

Oinochoe (wine pitcher)

Italic

Small pitcher of beige, slightly pinkish clay covered in a dull black gloss; the foot ring and the interior below the rim are reserved. The ovoid body is flattened in front and back; the mouth has a slight trefoil shape with pinched spout. The mouth is partly damaged, the foot is chipped, and the gloss has flaked off in parts, especially at the handle.
