Standing Woman
Greek
Standing woman with chiton, himation. Himation is draped shawl-like across her back, apparently leaving her bare-breasted. No sign of chiton over torso, though it is visible as a skirt under himation. Melon hairstyle. Standing with weight shifted to right side, right hand across stomach (broken), left hand on hip, under drapery. Left leg bent, back bent casually.
Discolored slip throughout, chipped off in places. Brownish pigment on hair, red discoloration on himation. Black discoloration on back.
Figurine broken at the waist. Plaster fan glued to broken hand area, perhaps originally the site of a terracotta fan. Attached to plaster base.
