Fragment of a Draped Female Head

Made of tan clay with course center including two large flakes of mica. Head has a large nose and assymetrically placed oval eyes. There are prominent lips in relief. The chin is rounded and the face is surrounded by a wavy lock in relief on top of which is a thick plastic veil. This piece was broken off of a larger seated or standing terracotta figurine.
