Rim Of Hole-Mouthed Vessel With Imitation Mycenaean Painted Decoration

Rim of hole mouth vessel, which was a two-handled, spouted shape. Red and brown paint on brown-buff. 5 brown foliat bands on lip, in between areas of red. There is a band of red paint below the lip, and and the remains of 3 large brown dots, probably a larger foliate band or pendant motif. The main motif on hole-mouth jars was typically hatched-loop, though Marine Style (but not the octopus) does occur. Buff fabric with many voids and inclusions. Probably LHI-II
