The recto side of this folio predominantly features a drawing of a male figure milking a water buffalo with a chain and bell around her neck. He is crouched down and filling a large, rounded vessel with milk. He is bearded and wears cloth that wraps around his head and chin, and is secured by a knot at the top. The rest of this side bears sketches of water buffaloes and two male figures. One figure stands facing right in profile. He has a distinct beard and wears a turban, a long robe (jama), and waist sash (patka). Tucked into his wash sash is a punch dagger (katar). The second figure is a portrait bust facing left.
