Indian
Standing at a river bank is a group of seven women that are engaged in conversation with each other. They wear a chaniya choli, which consists of a cropped blouse and a long skirt. Each woman is adorned with necklaces, armlets, bracelets, anklets, earrings, nose rings, and head ornaments. Their jewelry suggests that they are women of the royal court. In the background, the sun peers from over a hill, while a variety of trees in the top right corner indicate that they may be approaching a forest. Rajput Style, Kota School.
