Lined pocket of crimson silk damask embroidered with a central circular medallion showing a descending dove with the Holy Spirit within a radiance and cloud band surrounded by strapwork (couched) and flowers. Satin stitch and French knots. "Gaufrure" (waffled) border around three sides. Backed with white warp-faced plain weave.
