Torso of a Satyr

Torso of a Satyr

Roman

A small fragmentary figure possibly identified as a satyr because of what appears to be the remnant of a tail. The head, arms and legs are missing. The left arm was probably raised, the right lowered and thrust backward. The right leg is bent forward. A fragment suggesting drapery crosses the left shoulder.
