Cope Hood depicting the Coronation of the Virgin

Cope hood embroidered in silk polychrome (blue, burgundy and burnt yellow) and metallic threads with scene of the Coronation of the Virgin; the Virgin is being crowned by two angels with St. John the Evangelist or St. Matthew kneeling below. The later backing is of green silk damask and there is a braided border with a fringe. The piece has been patched.
