Indian
Set in an enclosed terrace and under a bright orange awning is an amorous couple. The terrace has a large opening to an interior. The red decorative curtain that hangs at the door entrance is rolled up. Carved niches hold gold containers. The terrace itself has a red carpet decorated with flowers. On the floor are trays carrying flasks. A small table holds a tray of flasks and a tray of food. The terrace looks out to trees and a blue sky with clouds. The female figure is propped on a gold cushion decorated with purple and orange flowers. She wears bracelets, anklets, armlets, necklaces, a nose ring, earrings, and head ornaments. Her toes and fingers are dyed red with henna. The male figure rests back on the same type of cushion. He wears an earring, necklaces, bracelets, armlets, and an orange turban.
