Obverse: Bust of Valens r., draped, cuirassed, with rosette diadem. Reverse: Roma and Constantinopolis, both helmeted, together holding shield inscribed VOT/X/MVL/XX in four lines. Above shield, christogram. Constantinopolis rests her foot on a prow. In exergue, AN OB Δ.
