Obverse: Helmeted bust of emperor facing, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed, spear in r. hand held over r. shoulder behind head, on l. arm shield decorated with cross.
Reverse: Constantinoplis enthroned facing, head l., holding long sceptre and Victory on globe; beneath r. foot, a prow. SMKA in exergue.
