Ovoid jar with tubular spout, short neck, broad body, and lower portion tapering inward to a small, flat base, and with two strap handles; buff earthenware with geometric decoration painted in black slip. Majiayao culture, Machang type. From the upper Yellow River valley region; Gansu, Qinghai, or Ningxia province.
