Ovoid bottle with sides of lower half tapering inward to a short, slightly splayed foot with flat base; broad rounded shoulders curve inward to long, slender ridged neck topped with dish-shaped mouth with everted rim; four double-loop applique handles evenly spaced around the shoulders; lightly incised horizontal lines encircling the upper portion of body; light gray stoneware with light green celadon glaze that stops well above the foot; base unglazed. Place of manufacture uncertain, probably northern China.
