Obv.: Head of Pompey the Great; behind, jug; before, lituus; around, [MAG.]PIVS.IM[P.IT]ER. Border of dots. Rev.: Neptune standing l., diademed, holding aplustre in r. hand and cloak over l. arm, with r. foot on prow; on either side, one of the Catanaean brothers, bearing his father on his shoulders; above, PR[AEF] (AE in ligature); in exergue, CLAS.ET.OR[AE]/MARIT.EX.S.[C] (AE and MAR in ligature). Border of dots.
