Chinese

Jar with flared mouth, short, cylindrical neck, ovoid body flattened on one side, two loop handles on the shoulders, bordering the flattened back, pointed tab on the front, and flat base; medium gray earthenware with applique elements. Dawenkou culture. From the middle and lower Yellow River valley regions; Shandong, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, and eastern Henan provinces.
