Philip I, the Arab

Obv.: Bust of Philip I r., laureate, wearing paludamentum and cuirass. Rev.: Propylaeum of the temple of Jupiter Heliopolitanus. It is approached by a flight of steps flanked at each end by a pedestal, and consists of a portico of twelve columns, flanked at each end by a tower, over the center of the portico is a pediment, and in an arched entrance beneath the pediment a tree (cypress?) is seen, above COLIVLAVGFE IO MH, beneath COL HEL and an altar.
