Cylinder Seal with Figures and Tree

Cylinder Seal with Figures and Tree

Neo-Assyrian

Beardless diety in horned-headdress and front-open skirt stands with both hands raised; the upper body of the deity is surrounded by dots forming like a halo. Before the deity stands a bearded worshipper in a long fringed robe. Between the two figures appears to be a sacrificial table or altar. Star, crescent and the Pleiades are in the terminal field.
