Covered cylindrical jar with three small triangular tabs descending from a flat rim, the conical cover with conical-dish shaped knob; thinly potted gray earthenware with abstract decoration cold-painted in red pigment. Dawenkou culture. From the middle and lower Yellow River valley regions; Shandong, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, and eastern Henan provinces.
