Oblong quatrefoil cup with lobed sides tapering inward to a short quatrefoil foot mirroring the shape of the vessel; molded relief decoration of a fish on the vessel floor and a flower on each of the four walls; white earthenware with lead-fluxed, copper-green splashed glaze over interior and exterior, including the base. Copper-splashed sancai ware. From northern China, Henan, Hebei, or Shaanxi province.
