Luca Giordano (Italian, 1634-1705) after Agostino Carracci (Italian, 1557-1602)

Italy

In 1692, Charles II summoned Luca Giordano to Spain to paint the ceilings in the Escorial. In 1702 he returned to Naples. This is a copy he made after Agostino Carracci's painting of the Last Supper, now in the Prado, Madrid.
