A work made of wool, center of 2:2 'z' twill weave; embroidered with wool and silk in fly, satin, and stem stitches; attached border of wool and cotton, two layers of complementary warp and five-color complementary weft twill weaves self-patterned by main warp floats; woven on loom with jacquard attachment; "harlequin" tabs of wool, pieced 2:2 'z' twill weaves; embroidered with wool and silk in back, satin, and stem stitches; couching; main warp fringe.
