Emil Armin (1883-1971)
Correspondence, photographs, and other materials related to the career of Chicago artist and painter Emil Armin. Armin was active in the Chicago art community as a member of the 57th Street Art Colony in Hyde Park and through exhibitions with the Chicago Society of Artists. He also participated in the WPA’s Federal Art Project and worked as an assistant to the Supervisor of Art for the Illinois Art Project.
