A work made of enclosed in a brown cloth covered case with reproductions of duchamp's notes, sketches and images on lining papers; case includes small compartment with magnetic closure containing a collotype and stencil facsimile of the "large glass" and large compartment containing the book, with black velvet paper covered compartment cover with a torn silhouette profile of the artist on tan paper; mounted on the front of case is a blue enamel coated metial plaque lettered in white "eau & gaz à tous les estages".
