Michael Miller American, born 1938

United States

Michael Miller joined the SAIC Printmedia faculty in 1973, and while his imagery has changed over the years, he remains committed to the expressive qualities of line and the allusive properties of printing. An astute observer and scavenger of styles, he is especially interested in the graphic conventions of satire and comics exemplified by artists as diverse as William Hogarth, Saul Steinberg, and Robert Crumb.
