This work and its title are one and the same. Lawrence Weiner’s works with language have the potential for being realized in countless ways and contexts; they maybe shown outdoors as a public project, published in a book, printed on a matchbook cover, or simply spoken aloud. Seen here on a wall at the Art Institute of Chicago, the work is determined by viewers, drawing from their everyday lives. Thus, Weiner reimagined the relationship between viewer, artist, and artwork.
