Pattern side: silk, gold-leaf-over-lacquered-paper-strip-wrapped silk; slit tapestry weave (tsuzure); lining: silk, plain weave with creped wefts (chirimen, hitokoshi); sewn with padded lining extending beyond front on all four sides (Yatsuzuma); corners: silk, gold-leaf-over-lacquered-paper-strip-wrapped silk, 1:1 tubular oblique interlacing over cotton core, knotted; gold-leaf-over-lacquered-paper-strip-wrapped silk wrapped cotton ball, and re-plied fringe tassels
