A work made of woven in one piece (hikikaeshi); mon side: silk, warp resist dyed plain weave; patterned side: silk, wild silk, rayon, cotton and gold- and silver-leaf-on-lacquered-paper-strip wrapped cotton, plain weave with supplementary patterning and brocading wefts bound by main warps in weft-float faced 1:3 "s" twill and plain interlacings mounted to paper; inscribed with ink; attached tying tapes of cotton, 2:2 oblique twill interlacing; both selvages present.
